Off-set J front sprocket

Off-set J front sprocket
Have need of an off-set front sprocket for the J same as gpzB and unitrak / 1100R.
Looking for 18 tooth and 3/8 inch offset if at all possible.
This is for a 530 chain and in an ideal world it would be 19 tooth but i doubt such a thing exists..
Debbens did do them but i think i had the last one a year ago although it was 5/8 off-set.

Hi Paul i'm still here, been busy, been ill, been trackdays, been off at a tangent and work has gone into orbit,... thankfully.
Hope to catch up at some point and maybe meet up again too. Not done much socialising since i became obsessed with circuit riding which i have to say has been great.
Will we see you riding at one of these events?? I hear they even allow suzukis' at some of them
Youre' right, Talon made them all but then supplied them as batches to Debbens. They keep no stock of their own as there is no market for them.
Ray found it hard to justify £1000 worth of stock sitting dead on the shelf for years at a time so was stopping doing them.
Piggy got the last lot made i think.
Will give Ray a ring and see if the situation has changed from last winter.

Neil i have a 5/8 off-set, 18 tooth, 530 sprocket on there now and for this past year.
Same physical size as the 630 i had which it replaced.
Would like a 19 if i could find one but doubt they exist unless its a 'weld up'.
I need a 3/8 off-set because i am going to do the unthinkable, yes i'm going to run the wheel on the centre-line of the bike for the first time in i dont know how long

Al, Talon will make 'em as one off's. Expect to pay around £70-80
I searched the forum & found this that I'd posted a while back...... But I think I'm right in thinking you run 18" wheels? Either way I don't recall having any clearance issues using a 19t sprocket.

I originally started with a specially made 19t front sprocket & 40t rear, it was massively overgeared, so I went for an 18t front sprocket (off the shelf from Debben's), better, but still overgeared, okay for leisurely motorway work, but not best for performance. I have now gone up 5 teeth on the rear to 45t, so 18/45 with 530 chain (another new longer one)Works really well, revs at around 5000rpm @ 80mph.
I guess the ZRX probably uses the same sprocket carrier as the ZX7R. I had to remove 8mm or so from the mounting face & fit a 5/8" offset front sprocket to make it all line up.
Renthal sprocket code from B&C express is 184U-530-45.
Neil the 18 tooth 530 sprocket is the same physical size as a 15 tooth 630
(18 divided by 6 and times 5 is 15)
This is what an 18T 530 looks like and there is 7mm before it hits the pushrod.

A 17 tooth 530 sprocket has 10 mm before it touches the pushrod so i am anticipating that a 19 should have 4 or 5mm clearance.
Thanks Steve that is both useful and interesting, Youre right they are 18 inch and i am happy with the gearing. The issue before me is a new swingarm and the desire to not be permanently countersteering / scrubbing tyres.
The fly in the ointment is that with the Astralite wheel there is no room or method of spacing the wheel to the right / sprocket to the left.
If you put the wheel in the middle of the bike you dont need an off-set front sprocket, you need an off-set rear sprocket!!!!!!!!! That, i am reliably informed is a no-no because of the nature of the sprocket bushes.
(Sometimes referred to as cush drive but that is a misnomer)
The only thing that can be done is to space the 'half hub' away from the wheel core. (likely to be very costly having a spacer machined)!!!

That is correct a 19 tooth 530 front sprocket if you can find one or make one will be fractionally smaller in diameter than youre existing 16 tooth 630 by 0.2 of a tooth.
Directly converted the 16 tooth 630 is actually the same diameter as a 19.2 tooth 530.
(16 times 6 divided by 5 is 19.2)
If you find a spare of either with little or minimal off-set please let me know.
