z1100 st parts

#1 PostAuthor: freddyz1r » Sat Nov 15, 2014 4:55 pm

Hi all, I require several standard parts for a z1100 st (1981).
I don't know if any of the parts double up on different models???
1, front mudguard = SORTED
2, centre stand
3, centre stand lock/bracket = SORTED
4, side panel badges
5,'kawasaki' cover that fits on the bottom yolk area, between the 2 fork legs.= SORTED
I've found everything on ebay but quite pricey
so if you want to sell your spares, pm me a price, photo etc.
Also any info will be much appreciated :up
thanks in advance,
freddy :D

I will have a look.
I might have panel badges and front fork piece.

If you don't know, the A1/2 panel badges are different to the A3 badges

Well I have embarrassed myself  No badges on the panels, and I cannot find a fork cover.

The difference is basically the font style of the lettering. On the A1/A2 the 0's are rounded, and all the numerals have an outline to them.
On the A3, the 0's are squared off and are flat, with no outline to them, but the Z has an outline.

Picture is of my UK A3 model

now you've shown me the A3 badge picture I can see the difference, totally different to mine .
thanks for looking.
I new there was a couple of differences ( ignition switch, speedo drive) but I didn't know anymore :??
I'll post a separate picture / wanted ad for the badge. I can't find one at the moment, but I'm sure someone will know where to get 1 from.
