petcock filters

back to these again ,im looking to buy a couple of the filters what go on the long stalk in the fuel tap,ive been on past threads and they are out of stock,anyone know where to get em from and what size. :roll:

This is where I got mine from. Fitted nicely onto my Z1B (original) fuel tap.

it looks a bit small ,mines a a4 there carnt be much difference,

I have been looking for this type of filter for ages as well ? so any help would be great ?

Good find ! i have just measured my spare tap, the two copper tubes are 7 mm o.d ,so i think they would fit ? just a bit dear £6 ?
That is on a gpz11 uni-trak ,but i think they are all the same for the big fours ?correct me if i am wrong ?

I know ones fitted to Atco and other lawnmowers are very simialr have used in the past,also seem to remember some scooters use em!

Cant vouch for anything else but the Z1R tap, But in the past Ive rolled some fine brass gauze into a tube and inserted it into the old carrier with good effect

put the filter on the tap inside the fuel tank ,and it fitted nice and tight ,so now i have got rid of the in-line fuel filter ,which means now i have a better flow to the carbs .
So the above filters are decent and fit good .
