guys, im looking at a 1959 land rover series 2, its my belief that i can pick the vehicle up and drive it home legally as long as everything works as it should, does anyone know if thins is the case :?:

Item 7. Vehicles exempt from MOT
Some vehicles don’t have to take an MOT test. These include:

tractors
goods vehicles powered by electricity
any vehicle less than 3 years old
cars and motorbikes made before 1960

cool but whats the new tax su=situation, i know its tax free but i also know i have to apply for the tax still even though i dont pay anything. im just nor sure how to sort it when buying a vehicle.

thanks Adrian, i think i would need to book a yha or bb near to where the vehicle is and sort out the tax when the deal is done. the insurance is easy enough.
