Reg Number

#1 PostAuthor: 1962royp » Thu Oct 30, 2014 11:39 am

Help needed
I have bought a Gpz1100 B2 from a guy/idiot in my village he has had it down his cellar for 16 years it has matching chassis numbers but he has lost the log book and reg plate.(yes I know)
I know he bought it from a bike shop down the road but its not there anymore.
I have HPI checked it I have emailed Kawasaki Uk no joy.
Does anyone know how i can find the reg no ?

Dealers can HPI check against the vin number.
But HPI firms on the internet do not seem to offer this service.
I have used a contact visordown forum there is a guy who can do these for a small charge to identify the reg number (if recorded in the UK)

But if you have HPI' checked it already and it does not show the reg number on the HPI check, that would suggest its not a UK registered bike!

Kawasaki Uk would not necessarily know the reg number only year of manufacture. Once you have the reg number a v62 form need submitting to DVLA .
Perhaps Jerry can provide a dating certificate and then you'll need to apply for an age related plate.

It should be still on the DVLA system, they will find the reg off the Vin number.
