Air Assisted Shocks

#1 PostAuthor: evans » Tue Oct 21, 2014 4:03 pm

I have air assisted shocks on my 77' z1000A1, but do not know what they are actually off. This is a problem when it comes to quants of fork oil, seals etc.
Can anyone suggest from which bike they might be from ? They have caps in the top with holes in, which has meant that the recessed square plugs underneath in the top of the forks are rusted/ceased solid and can't be removed to fill with oil.

Thanks

Also have air assisted on my A1. Previous owner replaced original fork tops with after market ones with air fillers on. Work well, remainder of forks are standard.

See photos. Might be best for me to replace with new upper forks as they are pitted. Any ideas where I can get them from ?

Cheers
