Split base gasket

#1 PostAuthor: kwaka » Sun Dec 09, 2007 1:57 am

Hi, After installing my base gasket and getting 2 pistons into the barrels i've noticed a split in my base gasket  . It's gone through half the width of the gasket only in line with the centre of one cylinder. What do you reckon, does it need replacing or should i use a bit of gasket glue?

Thanks fellas, i suppose i better replace it and save the possibility of tears later. Just means i'll have to wait another 2 weeks for shipping and about $50.00 lighter :( .
