Thanks to all that took the time to prepare their bikes for the club stand. We had a very diverse collection of bike's that attracted a lot of interest.

I wasn't to sure about the concept of a one day show, but it seemed to work. The weather was extremely kind, prompting a great turnout.

Hopefully some of you will be up for it next year & we'll see if we can't improve on the 'Highly recommended' award that we won this year. :up

Well done Steve and everyone else who attended, looks like you put up a good show for the club.

Steve, it looks like you did end up setting it up on your own after all, sorry I wasn't able to come along and help. Presumably you had more help ripping it down! Sorry to hear about Mrs GB, hope she feels better soon.

Not quite true eh GB.

There was a bit of help from a tall Jock :D

Excellent time I had down there guys.
Really enjoyed putting names to faces. & It was good to finally shake the magic hands of our Mikey.
The stand looked very good with a varied selection of some cracking bikes.
Had a good run on some very nice country roads on the Staurday.
Also met up from a few ciders with Mike aka Zomerset zed
I eventually got back home to Aberdeen at 3:00 a.m. Not too bad after leaving Haynes at 17:30.

Snotie,

I cannot lie, the bike was trailered down to Somerset - My old wrists wouldn't handle any more than 4-5 hours maximum.

But is was good to get a run around on the Saturday.

I was driving a black Toyota Hilux - all in It was 1100miles down & back.

Well done for helping GB out Stu, I'm sure you were a lot more useful than I would be.

4-5 hours wristwork is pretty impressive tbh.

Stu,

Glad to see you made it home, what an epic journey.

Your arrival on Saturday afternoon was indeed timely, I may have got that stand up the first meter, but never the full 2.4m on me own.

If you hadn't arrived when you did, I might have had to ask the CBX owners club for a lift.......... and that just would have been plain wrong.

For that, I thank you Sir :bow

Simon,

I was all done in less time than you'd think.

Ironic thing was the only help came all the way from Aberdeen.
