CORRADO.

#1 PostAuthor: jimmock » Sat Aug 23, 2014 6:25 pm

Getting the VW ready for MOT.

Getting major grief with electrical extras not working.

Got the Sunroof working.
Got the interior lights working.
Cured the flashing temp / water level light working.

Still got the door mirrors and central locking to address.

Hopefully be up for sale next week.

Had it 8 years, been parked up for the entire time except a few months.
Done about 1000 miles in it!!!!

Cannot justify it any longer.

And on the 7th day... Zeds were created!

They are nice cars and nice to drive.

Handle really well even in standard set up.

They are only now receiving the status they deserved.

The VR6 leather trimmed one is THE one to have.

I don't know about the VR6, but my 1.8 is able to out drive the power available.
It is totally standard but goes pretty quick.
Glued to the corners on standard rims, tyres, ride height and suspension.

Guyz,

Sold the Corrado on Tuesday.

A local guy of 76 YEARS OLD bought it.
He had owned a Scirroco years ago and wanted a Corrado.

Another guy of 68 (who had also owned a Scirroco) was waiting to see it too.

What is it with "older" guys that used to have Scirroco's now buying Corrado's??

The guy didn't even haggle.

2 grand with no hesitation.

He had heard I was selling it and had came to the door twice when I was on my last job which was 7 weeks.

He came down when I got home and it was gone!!

A nice tidy example. He agreed.
