Do you mean the long brass tubes that go to bottom of float bowl??
If so I use steel guitar strings to pass up the centre hole and clear it out.
They won't snap off and block it (unlike wire brush bristles !!!)
You need to use the top e string which is just one wire and the thinnest in the set.
Teenagers are a good source of used guitar strings if you are struggling or you can buy a top e on it's own cheap enough.

It's a different set up, it doesn't have the long brass tube but a pressed in jet next to the mains and pilot. Last night I did use a wire brush strand, lucky it didn't, your right we have a kids guitar I could have robbed.
They were absolutely solid choked, the bike had had a carb clean from the garage that commissioned it but the missed the pressed in choke jet. It had only done 900 miles from new between 1986 mad 2011,
