Yep, me and 2 mates going in my trusty Toyota van with refreshed aircon,,,luverly! I have a theory, if I go in van, won't find owt for sale, however every bloody time over the years of going to these things be it bike or car, you always find something you'd like to take home but can't but then you wouldn't get hassle of your lass, Stafford, earlier on this year would have been the red mint GS1000 or the blue Z1000A2, but we went in car so no, but years ago in a peugot 205 we brought a complete xt500 home, stripped down, that was fun getting that in!!! see some of you there, i'll be the daft one in the Kawasaki hat with gpz badge on it moaning coz there's no GPZ's ho ho. Hope the sun shines.

Well what a cracking day out loads of bikes, thought I recognized a few but unless someone says hello, kinda buggered coz didn't like to butt in on people chatting, great thirteens guys loads of nines and thous but no mk11's no J's and no big GPz's, though there was a B2 up round the corner bog standardish. Red Z1R looked good in real life and how does the nine with the skinny rear tyre handle??? still all looked good and loved, the rx is going up to the dyno at Horseforth shortly uprated carbs proper K&N's through stainless tail pipes but best of all new tires, be nice if it does above 150bhp probably more like 140ish maybe a bit less but more than the original 125bhp Fun fun fun!!

There was 3 Thirteens, two were next to each other, mine was next to the Kawasaki90.
The problem with this type of event is that if you haven't attended a Z 1 owners meet noone will know that you are a Z1 owner.

Cheers
Gavin
The Z1B with the skinny back tyre is mine the result of too big a tyre on too small a rim lol. Handles fine but looks silly CWC have my hubs and are building front and rear wheels for 18 inch 110 front and 160 rear. Had a great day out nice to meet so many club members. We popped in to Squires on the way back and it was packed most bikes I have ever seen there.
