Leaking from carb overflow only on number 2

#1 PostAuthor: Hasbeen » Mon Jun 23, 2014 7:20 pm

Easy I thought, the bikes been stood a while, so I removed carbs, cleaned the float valve.
Put some new fuel lines and fitted in line filters and I thought that would be the end of it. Nope still leaks only a few drips a minute but it bugs me.
Ok, plan B. Ordered a carb overhaul kit and fitted the new valve and seat. Just put it back together, guess what no difference..........

Any ideas/advice appreciated, I must be missing something.
Cheers

Its a 1000 a1

You can't polish a turd, but you can roll it in glitter
