Wayne if you are sure its a fuel problem, just to confirm, get a syringe a drop a little fuel(Dont overfill else you will fuel lock) into each plug hole,if she fires you know its a fuel prob, you could also try spraying a shot of brake cleaner into the air intake to see if she fires..

Ok checked plugs and definitely getting spark. As u said after checking plugs they are dry. This tells me fuel is not getting into the combustion chamber. Petrol definitely in the float bowls.
Going to drop one of the bowls off tonight just to check float as one if the carbs is letting by which again proved there is petrol getting through.
Can you get an sure lock? Seems strange all 4 carbs have petrol in bowls but nothing getting through. Must be the same problem for all!

If no fuel is being drawn into the cylinders, it`s as if no vacuum is being created in the inlet manifolds. Have you checked the compression ?
If it ain`t broke.....don`t fix it

quick way to check carbs are pulling fuel through is put your hand over the inlet side of carb and spin engine over you will feel your palm being pulled towards carb this can some times unblock with out stripping carbs i might be you have put something back together incorrectly in the carbs if yoy stripped them all??
air fuel and spark in the right order and it will run dont panic it will be something daft

Just been thinking about the compression and I will obviously be checking it. However it would mean I had no compression at all in all 4 pots which would be hard to swallow.
It doesn't even fire! Or sound like it's going to fire.

The purist will hate this but it will give you a clue to whats going on........ take out 1and 4 plugs ( the easiest ) turn it over until the inlet valve in either has just closed (look down the hole :D ) pour a TEASPOON full of petrol down both replace plugs try again. I can hear the laughter from here but its convinced more than one reluctant engine into life for me , so laugh away

Yep, have done similar in the past. Worth a go to see if there is any kind of response from the engine.

Like i already suggested lads!!!!

Just a thought Wayne, have you set the slides about 1mm from the bottom in all 4 cases? are you giving her full choke with the throttle fully closed? hence max vacumn? choke lifting all four plungers? pilots set one and a quarter turns out from bottom?

IS it possible that the valve timing could be 180 degrees out
