Ok i have after market left and right switches. went through a hole plug and play communication on here and got it sorted.
I simply plugged the switch into the 3 pin plug as stated in the wiring diagram.
It obviously is picking up the right connections because they work when ignition on and indicator on.
It reminds me of that classic Morcombe and Wise sketch with Andre Previn!
