#1 PostAuthor: Wayne1960 » Thu May 29, 2014 10:05 pm

Does anyone have an original hazard switch and bracket for Z900 A4 with bracket and buzzer they want to sell?
Just purchased a 1976 UK Z900 A4 for renovation. Wish me luck.

Finally got myself a hazard switch and ver nice to. I have connected it up and wanted to ask how it should operate.
I'm sure this is more common sense but keen for it to function properly.
What it does
Ignition off pull switch, nothing. Turn on indicator left or right, nothing!
Is this correct as I read somewhere it should work with ignition off.

Turn ignition on, pull switch, nothing, turn indicator on left or right and hazards flash hooray! But is this right or should they simply come on when you pull the switch?

Hope you guys can help.

Steve

sound like much the same as mine but mine will not work without the ignition on so i'm guessing there must be a permanent feed somewhere.

I read that it should work with the ignition off and i also tried it in park but nothing.

they should only operate with the ignition switched of or in the park position

That's very strange then. i simply plugged the switch into the spare 3 way terminal block. all colors matching the wiring diagram.

Everything on the bike works as it should so why wouldn't this?

What to do?
