Rubber ring
What goes through the rubber ring that loops round the rear engine mount. Is the battery breather pipe?
Just purchased a 1976 UK Z900 A4 for renovation. Wish me luck.

sounds like a cue for Jimmock

Guys, speaking of carb overflow tubes,,,,, Anyone seen these two plastic/rubber clips.
I have seen them on several Z's over the years, however, it appears no one else has seen them! They fit perfectly on the four overflow tubes and are obvious by their slightly deformed square look! One fit before the figure-8 rubber strap and one after.
I know I've taken them off a few zeds and I am surprised and embarrassed that I'm the only Zed-nut, that has seen them.
RegardZ.
