Generator

#1 PostAuthor: steve bowdler » Mon May 19, 2014 8:27 am

I think my Generator has packed up going to do the tests tonight ,

BUT the question is , if it has to be replaced is it a new one from Electrex world or having mine rewound by Westcountry Windings which is the best option ?

If there was no massive price difference i'd have Westcountry windings sort it out given the problems I've had with Electrex's products and service recently.

Be careful! You need to check all the connections to the generator are good and low resistance, if not you could blow the new one (and don't ask how I found out, I'll cry  )
Also check you have a good earth to the engine............
