Can anyone share their experience of fitting a pingel tap to a J tank.
My kit came with a non offset base plate and a trial fitment demonstrates I will need to open out the tank outlet.
Before I do this I want to be sure it will all go in as it should.
To be clear I have a 3/8 single outlet tap with reserve function and the central adapter plate.
Many thanks gents.

That bit is pretty clear Gary.
You use the gasket as a template to enlarge the slot to a round hole.
I was just hoping that someone here will have done it before.
The stock tap fouls the carbs you see but the offset may put the new tap too close to the cam cover?
