I didnt realise it at the time but it was a realy good buy. I wanted something for long runs in all weather and this takes some beating. Its almost like being in a car. Whoever designed that fairing knew what he was doing.

I am getting fed up with the Z1 / TRIPLES thing where original spares are a piss take and you dare not ride it in the rain because its worth so much.
The BM takes me back to when I rode in all weathers and if it gets filthy it doesnt matter. I dont have to get a long range weather forecast to see if its safe to go out on it :D

This is EXACTLY what I was saying a few months ago when I was going to sell the LOT.

I wont be selling but its but riding something else for a while makes you think that bikes are about enjoyment and satisfaction rather than " how much its worth " and " if the No 7 bolts have the right font style for that year ! and if the seat cover has the right patina !!!! I have been into too much of that bullshit in recent years. :??

I couldn't agree more.

No7 bolts? I sling them and use STAINLESS!!!!

There was a time not that long ago, that a LOT of interest was generated in "nice" 4 into 1's.

I was hoping the 101% "ORIGINAL" theme was going to pass and a bit of "individuality" was going to happen.

I think the UK is the only country that we are anal about "originality".

i prefer the 4 into 1 look on a zed, the 4 into 4 is too complicated for my tastes.
