The various threads on caliper restoration are very helpful - many thanks. Have finally managed to fully disassemble mine but before stripping and painting I was wondering how to remove the thin circular reflective disc from the outer caliper half. I don't want to damage it as it is in good condition. Or does it just have to stay on and get masked off for blasting and painting?

warm it up with a heat gun & it will come of easily
