Yeah - a great bike the Z1300. We call it the Rolls Royce
of the Z's - even price wise :D :D

Take care of the mufflers. You do not find the originals anymore.
If you need parts you can contact

a) Wilfried Büchsenschütz
b) MCG - Helmut Göckeler
c) Parts Depot in Holland - Hans Schenk

Check out here

This is mine with wider wheels and a chrome fender in the front.

We will have a meeting on 10.05.2014 with the the topic 6-cylinders.

I hope to be able to collect more pics of these dinosaurs ...

Peter - looks in great condition: and thanks for the links.
Ive bought a few parts from Helmut already :D , but I am struggling for one last part (a no longer available Thrust Washer); Ive found one in the USA cost $4 plus a crippling $43 shipping: for a washer in an envelope ?

Freddy
re the CBX, for fear of causing undue distress I did not post any pics  Truth is, I bought 3 (its a long story - they are all stored in my mates Workshop); all project bikes, all runners, but in various states of decay. Next time any of these see the light of day, they will be a lot tidier.

Here goes, sorry for any offence this may cause folks:
this one I will probably keep as standard

This is going to be very non-standard / special: currently looks like a bag of sh1te, but the engine and carbs are spot on (thank God)

I've been working on this one (since pic was taken) - paintwork, case polishing, brakes, clutch, carbs, tyres etc etc - probably end up on evilBay at some stage.

Thanks for the pics tim.
The cbx is one of the few ho'das I've always liked, never owned one, never ridden one, just love the look of that angled 6.

Well thats it until Winter, when I'll do a few cosmetic tweaks: but I now plan on putting some miles on my Z13.

I spent the best part of 2 months sourcing a replacement starter clutch and sub-alternator assy, fettled the carbs, got fed up with changing plugs, so bought some Iridium ones (probably no better - but does seem to help) and had a pair of "looky likey" shocks from Hagon. Oh and fitted some crash bars as I thought she wasn't wide enough :D

But now she's finished, and rides really well - actually feels quite quick for an Oil Tanker !
