Hi, I have some nasty chips on fork legs ( worse than stone chip ) and was wondering if anything could be done
1/Can the chips be filled then re finished ?
2/Can the leg be returned to original finish from being polished ?
3/And finally are fork leg originals/pattern available ?
Thnks g

Well G, I assume you are talking about the Z900-A4, Which I found you had mentioned on a previous post.
The legs can be re-hard chromed and ground, however, this is expensive.
many Z1 retailers sell the ground legs and are simply replaced.
I'm not sure if your forks have the burnished in lower valve/ collars as mentioned in previous post.."Rebuild Z1000 forks"

I'm pretty sure your fork legs, may just be replaced by the usual Z1/ Z1A/ Z1B legs, using the existing damper components.
