Z1 oilways

#1 PostAuthor: Paul Mc » Wed Feb 26, 2014 8:00 pm

Hi Guys,
I'm just about to rebuild the bottom end of my Z1. The crankcases were soda blasted and then masked and painted. I want to ensure all oil passageways are totally clear. Could anyone advise which passageways there are and a good method of cleaning them. The Clymer manual is a bit sketchy in this area and just mentions the oil route via the oil pump.
Many thanks for your advice.
Cheers Paul Mc

if it was soda blasted i would just submerge it in water and give it a good rinse through........the soda desolves in contact with water :)
