The laws on number plates are pretty strict , to have a new legal plate you have to provide your reg doc then have the business name on the plate !!

or as said just get a show plate off ebay until your MOT is due

I've just had two number plates delivered today, that I ordered on Sunday.

The first is road legal, with the makers postcode & BSAU markings. I had to click on an 'email doc's button, but never actually sent a thing. :D

It came from here; http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/190900269519? ... 1439.l2649

The second is a 'smaller' :ws version & came from here;

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/261190475891? ... 1439.l2648

Service from both was excellent, just wish I'd ordered an 8"x6" as 7 1/2"x6 1/2" looks a bit square. :??

I put a ally plate on my zed 900 a4.. ( A 1976 ) just as it was back in the day...
Yellow and black. Got it from theses guys. Very quick. Normalley at Stafford show.. You have to scan your v5 with your driving licence in the corner, attach it to an email to them, and send job done...

I just love a BLACK plate with silver letters/digits, (Just like my avatar actually!!).

I should have bought a 72 Z1 instead of a 73!!!

Agreed I ordered both the Black and Silver and the Black and Yellow so hopefully covered. I'll use the Black and Silver whilst build the bike and simply looking at it!

I have a black/silver plate on my Saxon. It's full size and I've never had a problem with the police, even when I got pulled over for 'other' issues, he didn't say a thing about the plate.
