Not gone to waste! Fit's my GPz1100 like a dream. Martin now has a Rastec exhaust which tucks in closer to the engine. Not as light but looks the part.

Few pictures taken recently without it's clothes on.....
and finally fully dressed and ready to go. Sorry for the quality but light was fading and was taken on a camera phone. Bike now starts and passed it's MOT yesterday. We have a few minor niggles to sort but nothing to shed a tear over. If only it would stop raining!

Andy, if it ever stops raining! It's in Mike's workshop in Coate which is becoming ever more difficult to get to. Little thing called the Thames keeps blocking the road!

Took full advantage of a day of sunshine yesterday to ride the Martin for the first time. It's certainly a head turner and every time I stop it gathers a crowd. A few teething troubles need to be sorted the worst of which is the amount of crud coming out the fuel tank. It's blocked the filter and killed it a couple of times now so I have drained tank again and will apply Coca Cola for a week. Apparently it is the best around for removing corrosion from alloy. It also runs very rich so dropping the needles a notch should help. I do think this will be for show rather than go as it is very uncomfortable to ride. No idea where your knees go as they hit the back of the fairing and in leathers with knee sliders they wont tuck in behind. Here's a few photos in the sun
now need to recapitalise to sort out final niggles on Z900.

I used white vinager to soak my old ut tank in 5 ltrs for a couple of days ,and that got rid of loads of old rust and shit !
I ordered it through ebay free delivery ! £11 for 10 ltrs .
If you want the spare 5 ltr that i have left you can have it ?

Fuel tank is soaking in Coca Cola at the moment! Was recommended to me as top alloy corrosion remover as it contains phosphoric acid. It's on offer in Tesco so dirt cheap as well. Apparently I cant drink it afterwards though.
Fuel filter is just one of those screw together inline filters. Does it job but clogs real easy!
