Hoping to add this little bike to my garage

It appears to be in good nick - under 40k miles and the price is right well it is one of the ugliest bikes ever made!!! Hoping to collect it in a few weeks time.

I used to have the 750 F1, rode like a donkey, it was ok untill I took a Z1R for a test ride, the rest as they say is history

ok in there day ! I ran a 1976 fi many many years back with 810cc conversion, side draft webbers, rearsets, devil 4into1 etc went well ? as quick as a z1000 . Then come to my senses & got a z900 lol

Seems pretty original & being what it is, it won't set the world alight, but it will do what it's supposed to do and should be very reliable.
Gets my vote!

There again, most big bikes from the 70's look good to me!

I would have preferred a "K" model - but they're more expensive - and this is near enuff

Agree, but thats money - and I ain't got none I actually quite like the CumStars coz they is so sh*te

UPDATE: (not that anyones particularly interested )

Picked the bike up Monday - Uk Kev travelled over to the IoW with me & Paul (the seller).

It's been sitting in a shed and last on the road 2 yrs ago...... it just about started - so I bought it





Had a bit of spare time today and cleaned the plugs, trimmed the HT leads, drained old fuel out and put a fresh gallon in.... and she runs

Runs a bit rough - carbs need a good clean and its a bit rattley, so gonna take carbs off & check cam chain adjustment Probably just needs a damned good thrashing
