It is an excellent tyre fitter too.

Just in case anyone's tempted to follow Jimmock's advice.... the lube you use when fitting a tyre needs to dry out and become non-slippy.

KY (or vaseline) doesn't dry out so the tyre will be able to slip on the rim which you really don't want (Oooerrr I said vaseline and rim in the same sentence! ).

I use the 'proper' tyre fitting soap.

Was it a wheel rim you made reference too?? :ooer
Jimmock. :wnkr

SPEED IS JUST A QUESTION OF MONEY...HOW FAST DO 'YOU' WANT TO GO?

just use it, I got told recently AGAIN not to put it in my washers, only problem been doing it for 35 years and nothing has rotted yet, now and again I use the proper stuff, possibly this keeps it all good. :o or rub a bar of soap round the ring , lol
Best run in recent years, Faro 2,500 miles, roads to die for. Applecross (NW 500) also awesome roads, current bikes, Z1, GPZ1100, ZRX1100, HD Fat bob.

Been using wash up liquid for years, not only for changing tyres but in my washers and actually washing vehicles nothing has rotted out from under me yet, If you all knew what was in tap water which we all use you would not even use that until it had been processed through your own RO and DI plants, big business for the water treatment plant manufacturers :) .
