z1100r vesrah complete gasket set

hi can any one suggest where i can buy a complete gasket set made by vesrah for z1100r,if these are like hens teeth which make of gaskets are good quality for a full engine rebuild thanks richy..

Shouldn't a GPZ1100 unitrac set be the same.

no apparently there are 3 different head gaskets for the 1100 models don't know why but they have different part no's you would probably be wise to use genuine gaskets. i would suggest z1 enterprises but the z1100r is not listed on their site

no between z1100 a / b / r models

Cross referencing between sites I found this.

Head gaskets

CMSNL: Z1100R 1984 part number 11004-1119

Kawasaki.com search says that part fits these models

ZX1100-A1 (GPz) (1983)
ZX1100-A2 (GPz) (1984)

thanks for the replies there seems to be a lot of different head gaskets accross the 1100 range think i going to to buy a complete gasket set either athena or one called gold wing,but i think genuine kawasaki head gaskets are the way forward cheers richy..

You could do a lot worse than a COMETIC head gasket.
