Hi guys some pointers would be appreciated.
My Z1A restoration is progressing. I want to put back a 4 into 4 system. I have tried searching the forums for views on where I could get one from. It appears that Z Power stock a pattern version, are there any other sources and if so are there any differences in quality or are they all from the same manufacturer?
Thanks
Simon

As far as i know Doremi in Japan are the only manufacturer of the 4 into 4 exhausts, they are made using the original dies and the only difference fro the "originals" is they don't have the stamped writing on them.
Zedhead imported some sets for club members recently for several hundred pounds cheaper than z-power was selling them, I believe he may be getting some more if there is enough interest.
I think they were about 900 pounds a set

Most of my money has been spent on Z's, beer & women,
The rest has been squandered.

the Doremi ones are the ones to get, there are also PMC ones but they had some galvofroil over the join at the bottom of each downpipe, the doremi ones have the correct SS band. I got mine form webike.com -can't remember how much it all came to - Dave -(Zedhead) made it much cheaper.
BTW, I think DoReMi are Korean, not Japanese.

Thanks for taking the time to respond. I came across the thread talking about Dave Zedhead getting some for the club just after I posted! Think I must have directed my original search to the bike help only forum. Still learning!
Anyway sent Dave a PM last night and will plan to call him soon with a view to hopefully adding my name to the list for the next shipment!
