Default pilot air screw setting on VM26's

#1 PostAuthor: Paul Whitehouse » Tue Oct 22, 2013 8:32 am

Hi, seeing as I had no previous settings to work to....does anybody know the number of turns from lightly seated that the pilot air screw (on the underside of the carbs) needs to be backed off to on a set of VM26's to take it back to a `default` setting? Cheers.
If it's too loud....too bad.

just get yourself a colour tune if you don't already have one. only way of getting the mixture something like without having a dyno run

Cheers guys....I have found a manual that states 1 1/2 turns, as Scott mentioned....I'll start at this setting and see how she runs.

Also note that these are fuel screws and not air.
