Popped out for a Coffee - ended up in a Pub

Pictures if you've gone for a nice run out and Zed spotting.

Popped out for a Coffee - ended up in a Pub

#1 PostAuthor: Tonto » Thu Oct 17, 2013 5:27 pm

Sun was shining, so first time for a wee while I took my Zed out today, had a very nice blast: met up with fellow member and Zedhead "Rhencullen" at Torksey Locks Tea Rooms.
Who says us old farts don't live life large !
By sheer good fortune the Tea Rooms were closed, so it was down the road to the Pub instead :beer

Couple of pics of proceedings.

A friend of mine a a 380 that colour and a Sheene lid, probably in 1976, but it was one of those odd King helmets. There weren'tthat many replicas back then, Premier did the Read and AGV had the Ago in Ago colours, but I think that was about it. Outside that you had to paint it yourself a I recall...

Jay
Colour was meant to be Candy Super Red as used on the Z650 B1.
I've had an anorak tell me it is not, but is actually the same as the Hounda CBX Red ?? I thought the CBX was a different colour: either way not too bothered, as I think it looks nice on the bike.
Cheers Tim

The livery on the A4 looks simply stunning.

It is a gorgeous colour that suits the lines of the bike.

It makes a big change from the usual drab green or the unusual brown.

I was always going to get my UK A4 done in its original brown, but now you have me thinking!!!
Jimmock. :wnkr
