Exhaust Baffles

Hi , Can I confirm please that the baffles on orignal 1976 a4 exhaust do come out ? If so any tips for doing it. Have removed bolts but they seem solid ,Cheers g

Try a good soaking with plus gas and Red X,then you can use a rawlbolt to grip inside baffle and if you are careful use as an exractor to draw baffle out!

G as PaulJac says, use something like a 8mm "lockse0n", with a piece of 8mm threaded rod about 400 mm long with a large washer & bolt on the end and a lump of weight (brass) with 9mm hole thru, to act as a slide hammer.
