BOLTS FOR CRANKCASE"S

#1 PostAuthor: gordon62 » Mon Oct 14, 2013 6:30 pm

Hi all,
I have now totally stripped my Z1000 motor, split the case"s etc, one of the 6mm bolt broke off, fortunetly I manage to get the broken bit out without to much trouble, phew.anyhow after that, I decided I would not reused any of the original case bolts as I do not trust them, and will renew them, the m6 and m8"s, I cannot decide which way I should go, either 8.8 zinc plated or higher? or maybe stainless a4-80?
so just wondered what you guy though or do and have done.... :)

You can buy complete M6 case bolt kits from either Debbens and Zpower or maybe from both I think.

Use the APE stud kits for the M8's.
