Hi All,
I have bought a good set of these to put on my Gpz1100B2, I have found an old post by Nanno with his jetting recommendations for when they are fitted to a 1000J. My bike is bored to 1170 so my question is, are the settings likely to be similar? I need to get it running half decently to then get it set up on a dyno later on.
Other questions.
Which is the best push pull throttle? APE seems cheapest.
I have seen a lot of Gsxr's with 1 K and N filter for each pair of carbs. These are quite reasonably priced, any pros or cons?
Any other tips or advice greatly appreciated
Many Thanks
Dave

I had a set fitted to my 1170 Moto Martin. I can take the float bowls off and have a look for you if you like but it might be closer to the weekend before i get a chance.
Also which GSXR carbs? Metal topped ones off the early slabbies or plastic top off the later slingshot? Mine are slingshot. Not sure if it makes a difference on jeting but i think the bore is bigger

Dave,I've bought the K&N Duplex type air filters for my flatslides.
I'm sure I was told the larger surface area/volume gives better running characteristics.
Here is a link to this type of filter,as always mucho cheaperier in the U.S.A.
