Hi
Does anyone know the part number and name for the rubber mounts that fir in the front of J series engines?
Alternatively the sizes needed to make up some metal ones

Thanks, thats a lot clearer, I was looking for something like the ones in my old kettle, theses are very different
But at those prices it's going to cost Â£80! according to the parts book I need 2 types

Are they worth replacing or should I go for metal replacements?

Hi Mark you need

2x 920751272 upper engine mounts

4x 920751274 side engine mounts

2 x 920751273 lower engine mounts

I would definitely replace with new if you have the engine out and are doing a full rebuild the difference with new ones against old worn rubbers is noticeable. You can get away without the side mounts if yours are okay.

Â£78.46 all in but the side mounts were nearly half the price Mark

with the amount I have spent on this engine that's peanuts :shock:

I have been in touch with a friend who is having some solid mounts made for a J so I'm getting a set too. Anyone tried solid mounts?
