Cheers for the offer, as you say its picking it up that would have to be thought about .
I have now ordered one like i posted a link to in an earlier message.
Presently strippng the bike down so i can lay it on it's side then lift the frame off the engine.

I use one of these, saved from a skip at a disabled living aids company and tested it to 250kg once in place. The lazy mans way :lol:

Gavin, I like your selection of the trolley and I'm sure it will let you move your engine around the garage or work-shop easily. However, you may have to leave your motor hanging around for some time.... If you have, I found it easier to store on a bench, hence, I remove the sump/oil-pan and the oil-pump so that the engine sits flat and easy to store.

I usually find a flat soft plate to sit the engine on, such as a cork place mat .. That seals out the dust and has a minimum foot print.
