Touch up pot of Super Candy Red

I don't suppose anyone has any paint I could use to touch up a couple of scratches on my Z1B body work - Super Candy Red.
I'd happily reimburse for a small amount.

to get it back to it's proper finish by a professional
sprayer, there's Mikey and Flying Tiger (Simon),
member's on here who could help with that. Would be

well if Mikey does Your paintwork it will be either highly polished alloy or chrome

Hutchy or Flying Tiger may however do a decent paintjob

You can buy touch ups/aerosols and or paint from http://www.rsbikepaint.com/en-gb/colours.php

They are a 3 stage process for the candy colours

It is not cheap, but it is accurate. I had some candy super red from him for my Z650 to paint a spare side panel.

The thing to be aware of of course, is that although his paint ^^ is very accurate, if yours has faded over the years as some of the Kawasaki paints have - yours may not be.

From what I've researched on this subject, none of the candy colours were 'coded'
for the early Z1 903cc series
unfortunately Charlie.
Unless the other chaps know of a now widely agreed 'factory standard' for them?

Yes they are available in touch up pots from RS bike paint.

He has somehow managed to match up all the early candies correctly, but whether that came from samples, colour codes or other methods I don't know. If you follow through the model selection guides, it comes up with all the colours used on that particular model and year.

I've had paint from him for my H1F in candy blue, my Z650 in candy super red in touch ups and in aerosols as well as touch ups for my newer ZX10R, Street Triple and Daytona 675 - all the colours were right. There is margin for error on application because you have 2 colours and a lacquer to apply, practice elsewhere to get the balance right first. I would not want to touch in something in the middle of the Zed tank, because even good matches still show, but if it's underneath the tank - it's better than looking at chips I guess.
