I Really Would Like To Build

#1 PostAuthor: gpjes » Tue Aug 20, 2013 1:11 pm

So after a cracking ride out on Saturday(Cheers Phil) a fair few bikes were ZRX's, it got me thinking, if you got a GPZ1000RX engine, would it fit straight in? if so 125 donkeys to be had with bolt on bits poss 135 at a push or go the whole hog bore it to 1049 11.1 comp whats possible with the ZRX? Can they be turned into a Perky Puppy? these are things I think about whilst stuck in traffic queue's round and about eventually aircooled stuff will become rarer (more expensive) just interesting what fits what in the Kawasaki world I know say the J series engine can with surgery be made to fit say a 72 frame, there was a 74 on ebay the other week with a GPz1100 engine all braced up done nice but not standard.
So whats possible with the modern watercooled motors? Anyone built one that has grunt and goes like the proverbial?
Just daydreaming on lunchbreak
