I cant believe the multiple problems ive had.
If you have read some of my other posts on this you would think im making it up.but i have witnesses.

It seemed finally it was going to be the carbs. But after checking them out & cleaning them again it wasnt.

With 2&3 running fine.i looked at the coil on 1&4.it cant be that as i had swapped the coils over previously which had made no difference.Well can you bloody believe it the HT side of the coil is knackered.
At last ive found the problem  .Put new coil in.
NOW 2,3 &4 good. but 1 rich not wet but goes black which then causes a misfire.

Im at a loss as to why so many different things have gone wrong.
And what is now the problem with 1 :?:

Is it the Rex you bought recently?

Have you had the valves looked at yet for #1
Has something knocked the timing out slightly?

Well yeah, I'm in the sell as parts camp - makes more money,
I'm sure of it, if you're not in a hurry to sell or need the garage space.

Very close now. :)
changed HT leads & all fire.
It seems ive solved the fuel problem.Plugs now not soaked in fuel.
Smokes a bit at 3k revs and more at 5k.
Plug 1 is black and a bit sticky.I think its a bit of oil
I know valves are good,
Will try & get a leakdown test done.No1 was the lowest on com test at 155.If it was rings i would have exspected oil in the breather. So maybe stem seals,or though i would exspect it to smoke on over run rarther than what appears to be when throtal is open.
