Al,

Anything you could bring you ask.
How about a Harris frame, some wide wheels, uprated forks etc.

Got a spare alternator cover?
Even a walking pace fall on the left and the casing smashes.
I'm sure you could buy billet aluminium ones many years ago.

Hoping to leave work early and be there about 5pm to start fighting with my tent's unfeasibly long poles.

Brian

Yes as above an extraordinary weekend with the usual very high quality organisation and entertainment from Classicbiketrackdays. Thanks Rob, Darin and the team.
Great to meet up with so many people; members, non members, interested parties, total strangers etc. and had the bonus of a part of my family who live local spending some time with us too.

Special mention to Rob W's son and my nephew who took pictures and some video too.

Brian 1100 took one of the instructors out to show him how to go round quick as hell.

Bit of grainy video of the Saturday with us all in the same group.
Brian 1100 was following the instructor at a safe distance to try to help to figure out where the instructor was going wrong.

Thanks all

Wish I was that quick

You guys got the better of me on youre 1000's 1100's+ cc'ed bikes, and were both riding well in the session we had together.

Brian put us all to shame with his skinny tired 1100r with luggage mounts!

I also went out on a Chris's (part of the grumpy1260 crowd) GSX 1170 ET 113BHP Bike and although it took me a couple of laps to get used to the sit up and beg bars, I was apparently 3 seconds a lap faster than on my old girl.

So I think I need to retire the old standard 1000a1 (still running a 110 rear and points ) and get some power for next years events!!

Time to raid the parts bin and start a rebuild.!

Also great to meet everyone, spent so long talking to zed1015 (rob) I forgot to put fuel in the bike and ended up pushing it up the mountain!!

What a great weekend. Lucky with the weather too - after leaving Sunday I hit rain a few miles down the road.
Good to meet a few members and camp alongside Rob and Al.
And for once the bike didn't miss a beat despite the punishment I dished out to it. Some fine looking bikes there too.
Got a CD of photos so here's an attempt to download a couple

If you ride it with six inches under the front tyre you will always have six and a quarter inches under the exhaust.
