Custom rear hub

#1 PostAuthor: Paul Whitehouse » Thu Sep 20, 2007 12:40 pm

I'm in the process of putting together a '77 Z1000 streetfighter / dragbike. I want to run a 5.5" x 17" 40 spoke Akront rim to give me somewhere in the region of a 180 section tyre. The problem I have is trying to locate a hub to lace this to. The hub will sit inside a retro style `club foot' swing arm with an internal spacing of around 255mm (10"). I have no problems locating the rim / spokes, but nobody seems interested when it comes to the hub including Talon. Can anybody offer any advice or recommend a company that may be able to help?

Klasmo from Germany seem to supply a wheel and hub already built. Looks like they use a standard z1000 hub.
