I forgot all about this, I went last year and can highly recommend it. Close up action of drag cars and bikes, lot's to see and do. I put up a thread of pics from last year on here somewhere. Hope I can make it this year too.

I went last year, and despite the weather it was a great event, so will definitely go again, and worth staying late on the Sat night for the fire burnouts!
I won`t be taking the Z1R though, it`s one I`d rather just be a spectator at as there is so much cool stuff to watch. The trouble with Santa Pod is if you are queuing to race you miss it all.

This is the event we have been aiming at for the ORIENT EXPRESS builds completion.
We have it booked in and it is in viewable condition ableit with no brakes and some other minor niggles but it does run and will be good for a stationary display.
If everything goes to plan spectators will witness it's first public firing in over 30 years :D

I will be bringing my lad with me.
Only his second time on the back of my bike we have this evening been sorting out suitable period gear for him to wear.

The bad news is I will now be riding in vest and pants.

Unfortunately TLC was a good as his word. First thing he did when he got there was strip to his skivvies....

Fortunately he did put a pair of shorts on soon after.......

will post the link to some photos (of the cars and bikes - not TLC) when i've uploaded them.
