Can any of the east coast guys recommend Barton bike night next Wed i believe. Ive never been but heard its a memorable event. Weather permitting Ill try to get my good lady to drive across for a look!

It is indeed July 3rd.
When this first started, all the bikes were in the 'centre' and there was a real buzz for the bikers. Nowadays ( probably due to H & S as much as anything ) the incoming bikes are directed away to park at the edges, which kinda defeats the purpose IMO, as the centre is now full of burger stands and non-biker pedestrians packed in like sardines.

I've been in my car the last two years, and I think it's the best way ( apart from trying to get parked ). It's a good night though, and worth visiting
