Wanted ignition/points housing for Z1000J Z1100r Gpz1100

I am looking for the ignition/points housing for a Z1100R I understand the Z1000J and GPZ1100 ones are the same. Right hand case that the points cover fits onto.

The one on my engine has had the usual gobo repair

Hi Ian, just spotted this on ebay 160938248239. As yet not found one in the garage.

When I built up my GPZ1100 motor I had to repair my original J case to use the J pickups as the GPZ housing had different internals, worth checking! I don't know about your model, but I still have the GPZ case, very scruffy but intact, would polish if this helps.

Hi there,

please note: this one for Z1000J/R-GPZ1100B1/B2 is another one as the Z1100R!!!

As well the housing as the pick ups are different. For your Z1100R you will need this one of a GPZ1100UT!

I have the original GPZ1100 A4 housing which is the later type,as opposed to the earlier type same fitting to crankcase but has 3 mointing points for ignition plate

the 1100r is same as unitrac ..the j and b ones are different !!!!!!!!!!
