A Carb option question

#1 PostAuthor: GPRD » Fri May 17, 2013 8:43 am

I've got a GPZ750R1 engine that is getting rebuilt with an 810 kit. I have also just come across a set of 28mil Mikuni's.
My question is, will the 28s be a better option to run with the 810 engine, or should I stick with the BS 34s?
Cheers
Gary

If the carbs are going to need tuning - always easier with proper "slide" carbs (ie: 28mm) rather than the CV type  Depends what else you're doing/fitting to the motor :!:
And on the 7th day... Zeds were created!

Thaks for the reply.
I guess they're going to need some sort of tuning as there will be no standard settings for the set up, so I guess 28mm is the way to go.
I'm not going to be doing anything else to the engine in a tuning kind of way.
Cheers
