Hi, I am just down the road from you and in the same boat looking for a reputable firm. I spoke to Prestige Plating last week .They are based in Mexborough near Sheffield. I have heard good reports of their work but they have a turn round time of 4 to 5 months at the moment.Dont know of anything more local to us but if I get anything I will let you know Regards G

To previous 2 posts, speak to our own Mikey who will produce excellent work and in shorter time than you have been quoted.

Steve

I get loads of chroming done and I'm just up the road in Newcastle.
I have looked for a local supplier for years and there isn't one so I would say go with the recommendation here as wherever it goes you'll have to post it or travel :D :D :D

Gordon - even if you find someone close to you, they will not be as good as Mikey. He has done dozens of these, knows how the parts should look when they are finished, knows the bikes (he is one of us) and he sticks to his price and time for doing the job. He is the best by far.
