looking for a Z1000A1 rear wheel

#1 PostAuthor: dave cullen » Sun Apr 14, 2013 1:03 pm

ideally would like wheel with hub, but as eventually want to get rim rechromed and rebuilt with polished hub, would take a hub, or a rim if in good nick, or both separately
thanks
dave

That's quite a rare wheel you after Dave. They only made a wire wheel for a z1000 for just 18 months.
Inheritance? What inheritance? He spent it all on booze, women and Zed parts!

picked up a decent front wheel today which I will restore, so still interested in a rear wheel or hub on its own

Think you'll need the sprocket carrier also.
Believe it's unique to this hub....I've been looking for a while.
Might have to get one modified and welded on if all else fails. :lol:

got a really nice front wheel today for £42 posted, no lever marks at all on the rim, needs rechromed and hub polished, but am still looking for a rear wheel or hub on its own to complete the set as have found a local wheelbuilder to do the job

I just wanted to thank Guido (ELR-21), and his friend Thomas Herlth from one of the german forums for their help in getting me a complete wheel at a great price;
in fact, Thomas shipped it to me without even having the money in advance, its so heartening to see what club members will do to help each other out;
thanks so much guys
dave
