Z1a rear wheel

#1 PostAuthor: ac/dc » Thu Apr 11, 2013 9:01 pm

Asking again does any one want to sell me an early wheel for a Z1a ?
Complete wheel or just the rim
some one must have one they will part with for drinking vouchers ?

Saw one on eBay recently, it looked a bit ropey
and too pricey for the condition in my opinion...

Regardz,
Jay.

Yeah soz, I've been trying to find it for you...
I'm pretty sure it was
'twowheelspares' selling it, hence it being
pricey for the rough condition they tend to
charge...

Ah, found it...

However they're saying it's a Z1B, the '1974'
bit in the description made me think it was Z1-A
but I only looked quickly the other day, so anyway
apparently the
'1974' applies to H2 500, still a Takasago wheel
though if that helps

I browse eBay regularly, so as soon as / if a 1973
rear Takasago wheel turns up, I'll let you know, and send
the link to see if it helps ok.
(maybe more available in the USA I guess)

Regards,
Jay.

Try DK, they have them in every so often, just bought a front and rear wheel off them but admittedly they are date stamped mid 73 but will just get way with it for an early Z1A.
Inheritance? What inheritance? He spent it all on booze, women and Zed parts!

There's a Z1 rear wheel for sale in Canada on eBay
guy's a bit vague about it, so I asked him for the code
stamped on the rim and it is 5A303.
I'm sure someone on here can identify the date :)

Even if it's not the correct date, show's I'm still
looking out for one for ya

Code for late 73 would be 3J,K or L(letters following months of the calender year.)
My June 73 has wheel codes of 3F.
Regards
Steve
