engine rebuild - seals,gaskets,bearings?

#1 PostAuthor: malmojoe » Sat Mar 02, 2013 9:13 pm

I seized a couple of valves last year, requiring a strip down and rebuild so I decided to do a total restoration. I've got 2 smashed seats replaced - after many emails pricing the work near to £400, I eventually found a specialist place near me that did 2 seats, re-cut all the others and put in my APE guides for £108 :lol:
So now I'm ready to start rebuilding the engine and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for seal sets, gaskets sets. I am rebuilding 3 Z1 engines at once so I'm looking for the magic combo of quality and value.
Also which bearings I should be replacing (part No.s would be helpful ) and which other parts would be better changing now?
thanks Glyn

Usual suspects for all these parts Glyn.

I'd shop around between these three;
www.z-power.co.uk Discount for club members
www.z1enterprises.com Possability of import duty, but in my experience unlikely
www.z-fever.de EU so no import duty or extra taxes to pay.
