Fred ......i had to make a 5mm thick spacer to slide over that shaft.....it then gave me the correct return of the pedal

Hi Scott, Errrrmm, it strikes me that Mr Kawasaki might have put things together in a number of different ways then, as sliding a 5mm spacer over the pivot shaft would make the situation worse not better. I'm sure everyone's advice is right in their experience, with their particular machine but it appears that set ups vary from model to model or even within a model range.

I think I'm off down an engineering shop to get 6.5mm cut out the middle of my Tarozzi rocker arm and it welded up and plated again. :roll:
